Focus is looking to expand our Sales Team by adding a Florida Account Executive.   


  • Prospect all sales opportunities in Florida
  • Identify key district staff to initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with
  • Plans visits to potential client districts to discuss Focus solutions
  • Maintain demo sites and ensure that data is up to date
  • Publish monthly and annual sales goals
  • Collaborate with team members and ensure the necessary tools are in place to achieve sales goals
  • Lead the proposal team for RFP and non-RFP opportunities in FL
  • Work with Marketing Team to develop and update marketing material
  • Stay up to date on all of the latest product features and be prepared and able to give a one, five, or thirty-minute product demonstration within a moment’s notice
  • Follow industry trends including pricing of competitors
  • Assist Executive Team in publishing annual pricing
  • Ensure that prospective client information is up to date in ERP
  • Sales Forecasting
  • Provide weekly sales updates to the Executive Team
  • At least five days of travel per month  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • An outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (ie: a people person)
  • Previous experience in Education preferred
  • Knowledge of Focus School Software systems highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail  
  • Proactive; ability to think critically and independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
